After Care

Please follow these instructions for 10-14 days after your Microblading session:

Day One (Day of Treatment): Wait 2 hours and allow the wounds to weep lymph (this is normal). After 2 hours, wipe the lymph off gently with a moistened cotton pad and proceed to apply a very thin layer of ointment with a cotton swab. Wipe the brows with a moistened cotton pad every 1-2 hours and reapply a very thin layer of ointment each time. Applying a thick layer will cause the color to scab, make sure only a thin layer of ointment is applied. At night, wash the treated area with lukewarm water and mild soap such as Cetaphil. Wash your hands with disinfectant soap before washing your eyebrows and/or reapplying ointment.

Day 2-10:  Repeat wiping of the brows at least twice a day. At night wash the treated area with warm water and mild soap. Wash your hands with disinfectant soap before washing eyebrows and/or reapplying ointment.

The following MUST be followed during all ten days post microblading procedure:

  • NO sweating. NO exercise for 10 days. Sweating of any type will release salt which can prematurely fade the color of your eyebrows.

  • NO soaking or swimming in a pool, bath or hot tub. No swimming in the ocean on salt water pools.

  • NO sun tanning or salon tanning. Absolutely no sun, sweating, or tanning.

  • NO laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on the face or neck.

  • NO picking, peeling or scratching of the micropigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.

  • NO performing tasks related to heavy household/work related cleaning which will expose you to a lot of airborne debris or dust.

  • NO spicy foods.

  • NO smoking.

  • NO makeup applied directly to microbladed area.
